A new page is turned for the MEUPIA Project which was launched four years ago in the Manobo-Tigwahanon village of Kisayab in the Philippines. The Cultural Center which took a big part of our efforts has finally come to be real this year. The project is now moving forward.

We had the pleasure of inaugurating it by taking part in the INSIDE/OUT project of the contemporary artist JR. Thanks to JR’s global art project transforming messages of personal identity into works of art, the ceiling of the Kisayab Cultural Center has been covered with portraits of the 32 Manobo-Tigwahanon children of which this story has begun!

We are looking for international and local NGO

who are willing to provide livelihood program for the good and benefit of the Manobo-Tigwahanon community.

Last boost for the Manobo Cultural Center of Kisayab!

Need 500 euros to complete the project !

The Meupia Project, launched in the Philippine, four years ago (April 1, 2013) aims at preserving the Manobo-Tigwahanon culture by promoting intergenerational exchanges.

Last February, after several years of fundraising, we launched the construction of a cultural center in the small village of Kisayab. The building work is almost finished, thanks to the help of the voluntary workers. However, today we still miss a few pesos to achieve the project. That is the reason why we are now launching a 2-weeks-crowdfunding campaign on ULULE to collect 500 euros we need to get the projet ready for opening.

We need a little help from fate (but more accurately from you) to carry out this project …
